Shiratoma Kami

History
Shiratoma Kami was born in Kyoko (京子 Kyou-ko), Japan to her unmarried and single mother. Kami was anonymously abandoned by her mother, assumedly on the day she was born. Having been found alone outside of a hospital in Kyoko, Kami was quickly placed into foster care. When she was only three weeks old Kami was adopted by Hikaru (飛雅龍 Hikaru) and Aiko (愛幸 Aikou) Shiratoma (白飛空 Shiratoma) after being temporarily placed in their care. At the same time, Kami also gained an older brother, Joujiro (譲慈朗 Joujiro) who is Aiko's biological son from his previous marriage.
Kami spent most of her life moving and traveling due to her father, Hikaru's, profession as a surgeon. Kami has lived in several cities all over the islands of Japan, including Kyoko (京子 Kyou-ko), Katsukawa (勝川 Katsukawa), and Mikkai (彌乎以 Mikai). Most notably was the four years she and her family lived in The United States, where her father worked in a prestigious hospital in New York.

Her family finally moved back to Japan when Kami was 11, and bought a pent house in Mikkai which is where the Shiratoma family currently still takes residence. While living in Mikkai, the Shiratoma family also adopted another little girl, 2 year old Saki (咲子 Sakiko) who became Kami and Joujiro's baby sister.Kami was homeschooled for her entire life aside from attending kindergarten. However, when Kami was 12 and her family began living in Mikkai, she was enrolled in New International School of Japan otherwise called New-IS (ニューインターナショナルスクールオブジャパン Nyū intānashonaru sukūru obu japan). At New-IS Kami was reunited with her childhood friend Nakamura Nori, who she once attended kindergarten with. Kami and Nori both had a dream of attending the prestigious UA High School and after graduating from Junior High, both were accepted into the UA's Hero Course in class 1A.

origami

|| Origami ||Origami allows the user to manipulate paper through forms of levitation and telekinesis. Origami does not allow the user to create or emit paper in any way, shape, or form. The user is only able to manipulate paper that already exists. The range for which the user can control the paper is unknown. If the user wants to be able to control paper they have to have seen it before, however it does not actively have to be in their line of vision.When manipulating the paper, the user is able to control as small as the atoms holding the paper together. This allows the user to control the strength and elasticity of the paper, likewise, the user has to use their own physical strength to hold the paper together. If the user is physically weak, the paper will be weak, and if the user is physically strong, the paper will be strong. Each piece of paper has 15% of the users own physical strength, so when trying to lift a heavy item, the user would need 7 pieces of paper to use their full strength to lift the item. If the user has 14, they will have double their own strength, and so forth.|| Weaknesses ||If the paper the user is manipulating gets wet, the user is no longer able to manipulate it. The exact reason is unknown, but no matter how wet the paper is, it becomes uncontrollable.If the user overuses this quirk they will begin to have dry, fragile skin, and they may also begin to experience fatigue or nausea.
The users skin become dry and fragile, because the users quirk causes their body to take on some of the same attributes as paper. It will always be weaker than normal, thinner than normal, it will also become dry easily, and tears and bruises more easily. The more the user uses their quirk their skin will take on more of a likeness to paper, however it usually goes away after a few hours, back to it's regular state.
The users body, because of it's likeness to paper, also struggles to retain body heat. This causes the user to stay cold, and to be extremely susceptible to hypothermia and frostbite.
|| Moves ||
Airstrike||
Airstrike is an attack move Shira made by create dozens of small sized paper airplanes, using her quirk can cause them to fly at her opponent in a swarm. The airplanes both block her opponent's vision, force them to redirect their focus into blocking, and create a large multitude of paper cuts. The move can be upgraded by sharpening the airplanes to where they create more than shallow damage.
|| Paper Stairs ||
Shira uses Paper Stairs by manipulating 2-3 pieces of paper to form a continuously revolving staircase that allows her to travel through mid air by hopping to one paper platform to the other.
|| Paper Thorns ||
By layering the ground in paper, Shira is able to manipulate her surrounding terrain allowing her to cause sharp thorns to suddenly spike up beneath her opponents.
|| Paper Crane ||
Paper Crane is one of Shira's most powerful and difficult moves she can preform. By using her entire reserve of paper, Shira can intricately manipulate and fold each piece together to form a 25 foot long Crane she is able to use to attack her opponent.

|| Kami's Suit ||The main part of Shira's Hero costume consists of a white bodysuit that covers her neck, torso, waist and legs, only leaving her arms exposed. This suit is lined with a layer of kevlar thick enough to stop blades from slicing through to the wearer, however, to allow for speed and agility it is not thick enough to be bulletproof. Shira arms and shoulders are also protected by her gloves and jacket which have a similar kevlar layer to keep her safe from any bladed weapon.|| Kami's Belt ||Kami also wears a compact utility belt that is made to carry extra pieces of paper, emergency medical supplies, and a small concealed knife. The belt also has two white straps attached on either side, these straps may be removed and used as weaponry by Kami because of their unique material which has been made with paper threaded into the fabric.|| Paper Wings ||Beneath Shira's hero suit, she wears a harness which has two metal hooks connected to it to stick out of the back of her suit. These hooks allow her to attach and remove her paper wings . The wings she makes allow her to easily store and carry paper in a functional and compact design. The wings are fully functional, meaning she is able to fly when using her quirk, and because of Shira's small and light stature they can allow her to glide without using her quirk.|| Plane Gauntlets ||Shira wears two wrist brace/gauntlets, attached to which are two paper airplanes. These airplanes have been designed to include as many pieces of paper as possible, allowing for her to use 2× her normal strength when manipulating them. The airplanes serve as both air projectiles and as a brace she can manipulate to increase the strength behind her punches.

However, internally she only wants to use the rescue as an opportunity to prove herself after failing to fight during the League of Villains' attack.
Shiratoma joins fellow students, Izuku Midoriya, Momo Yaoyorozu, Shoto Todoroki, Tenya Iida, and Eijirou Kirishima in traveling to Kamino Ward in an attempt to rescue their kidnapped classmate.

The plan Nezu wants to implement is the transition of UA to a boarding school. Shota Aizawa and All Might visit the Shiratoma household. Inside Kami's parents Hikaru and Aiko Shiratoma are concerned about sending their daughter back to UA after she was already put into harm's way under UA's supervision. Hikaru threatens to remove Kami from UA, saying she may be better off attending a more professional Hero School such as Shiketsu. Kami is mortified at her father's blatant disrespect towards her teachers, and argues she doesn't want to go to Shiketsu, that she can take care of herself and if she's constantly sheltered she'll never get any stronger. In the end her parents relent, allowing her to move into the UA dormitories.

Students begin to ask who it is, and they respond he's potential hero candidate from another class, disclosing the student as being Hitoshi Shinso.

With Hero Work-Studies back in effect, Shiratoma again applies to study under the now #2 Hero, Hawks.
Having studied under Hawks before, and being ignored for almost the entirety of the Work Study, Shiratoma hatches a plan to gain his attention this time.
While on patrol with the hero, Shiratoma reveals her newest support item Paper Wings, which were modeled after the #2 hero and bare a strong resemblance to the heroes own Fierce Wings. Shiratoma procures the wings from papers and documents she previously stole from Hawks' house, and races off into the sky, challenging the hero to a competition. Baffled, Hawks chases after her if only to get his stolen papers back, but ends up having to save Shiratoma from falling out of the sky after she loses control of her wings. In the end, Hawks frustratedly calls Shiratoma insanely stupid for pulling a stunt like that, but admits she's about as courageous as she is stupid. He agrees to actually teach her how to use her new wings, though specifying it's only so she doesn't make him look like a bad teacher when she "inevitably" gets herself killed trying to use them.

Appearance||

Shiratoma is a young girl of short stature, with a relatively muscular build that gives her somewhat broader shoulders and arms. Her eyes are a pale shade of purple and are half-lidded and narrow, creating a sharp cat-like appearance. Her hair is long, almost down to her waist in length, and is made of colorful, pink and turquoise swirls making it look like softly draped cotton candy. Her multicolor locks are very thick and usually carry a lot of natural volume and soft waves, however most often it is tucked away into a bun for safe keeping. Her skin is a medium/tan completion, that is a sort of tan beige color with a warm, yellow-orange undertone.At U.A, Shira wears the standard female school uniform, however, she adds a black turtleneck underneath and wears a pair of white, striped leg warmers on top of her school uniform stockings. She also prefers to wear her own pink and white sneakers instead of the school issued brown dress shoes.Shira wears of variety of clothes, having a rather extensive wardrobe, however, most of her clothes fall under the category of comfy/baggy street clothes, most of which are black and/or white. She gravitates to outfits of baggy graphic t-shirts, sweatpants, and sneakers but also wears turtlenecks, jeans, or skirts on occasion. When dressing up for a more formal event Shira most often wears suits, or nice dress shirts and pants rather than dresses, however, she will still wear dresses to black tie or gala events.For her Hero costume, Shira has had many designs, but the latest is made up of a solid white, sleeveless bodysuit which covers her neck, all the way down to the boots on her feet, paired with a matching white jacket. She has two gray gloves that cover her hands and go up to her shoulders. The costume also has two large wings on the back of it, connected to a harness beneath her suit, which are added as a support weapon to carry paper.
